On this site you will find information on Leo van Bergen, articles and some books he has written, mainly in Dutch, but also quite a few in English.

The main themes are the history of war and medicine, with a focus on the First World War, and colonial medicine. But attention will also be paid to for instance medical technology or university history. There even is some music, Willem Vermanderes 1000 soldaten (sodiers), made by Karel Bosman (guitar and voice) and me (flute and voice)
